Lesson 5 — Media, trays, hormones, and the sticking SOP

Goal: Standardize sticking so anyone can do it the same way every time.

Sticking SOP (print this)

1. Sanitize tools + bench.
2. Pre-moisten media; fill trays evenly.
3. Prepare cuttings: standard length + node count, remove lower leaves.
4. Dip hormone (per crop SOP).
5. Stick to consistent depth; firm media contact.
6. Label: crop, cultivar, date, batch ID, hormone, zone.
7. Water-in gently; place under mist immediately.
8. Log batch in your tracking sheet.
