Lesson 9 — Storage, Shipping, and Retail (optional)

Goal: protect supplies, simplify picking/loading, and keep customer areas separate if you add public sales.

Storage

• Pots and trays: dry, organized, stacked safely
• Irrigation parts: labeled bins (emitters, fittings, valves)
• Fertilizer/chemicals: secure, compliant, protected from moisture
• Tools: easy access and a “home” for each tool

Shipping/staging

Production blocks → staging lanes (sorted by order) → loading pad

Retail separation (if you add it)

• Separate parking/foot traffic from production traffic.
• Retail watering can differ from production irrigation—keep it controllable.
