Goal: respond fast and consistently.

Outbreak steps

1. Isolate affected block (stop movement).
2. Confirm ID (pest/disease) and severity.
3. Remove worst plants (cull) to lower pressure.
4. Act: cultural first, then targeted bio/chemical.
5. Re-scout in 48–72 hours and adjust.

Communication

• Mark blocks with tags/signage
• Tell everyone: “do not move plants from this block”
